A trip for vitamin N, i.e. a few things that should be taken with children for a kayak trip

It is worth having a rest at the spring

For a curious observer, the source of the San can be an extraordinary world. During the trip you will have the perfect opportunity to learn how to catch small crustaceans, amphibian tadpoles or dragonfly larvae. Sometimes it is also possible to find a white float or a black one. Free-wishing flatworms, or flatworms, unlike dangerous intestinal parasites, are completely harmless to humans, and even charming! Additionally, they testify to the purity of the water.
Small predators that hunt tiny plankton under water for many months is an extraordinary world that awaits your discovery. Remember to instruct participants never to pick anything unnecessarily, to catch or kill anything, and to release the caught organisms (after observation).

San Valley through binoculars

All your senses are used to play outdoors. It is worth starting your observation of nature in Podkarpacie by looking through binoculars and selecting an object, e.g. a bird sitting by the water. Using the binoculars, your baby can recognize important details such as the color of the plumage, the stripe above the eyes and the shape of the beak, and you can encourage them to describe what they see around them. The enlarged nature of the world reveals a new, amazing face that will remain in your memory for a long time after the trip.

A microcosm under a magnifying glass

The world around the San River is obvious at first glance. By observing nature carefully through the magnifying glass, your child gains unexpected insight into the natural world, especially into the fascinating kingdom of insects. Equipped with a magnifying glass, he can get to exciting questions through observation. How do spiders build their webs? What do the dots on a ladybug look like up close? What is the structure of the leaf surface? Encourage them to take pictures as well, then at home they can draw what they saw, and thanks to the magnifying glass they will surely remember important details.

Catch the butterflies like Mr. Kleks!

Just don't eat them like he used to do for lunch! The aquarium mesh is an important piece of equipment during the canoe trip on the San. Catching butterflies, dragonflies and other small insects is a great opportunity for a short rest and active fun. It's also a simple and effective way to enjoy a nature lesson where children learn by gently touching little coastal inhabitants. A moment of happiness, when a butterfly suddenly opens its brightly colored wings, is more impressive than any book knowledge. Insects' friends can become both teachers and ambassadors of nature conservation.

Hotel for insects

A transparent container and tweezers are perfect tools for careful observation of small creatures and another opportunity to take a break from the kayak. Experiencing the nature of Podkarpacie in this way promotes behavior that is friendly, aware and appreciates the environment. A child who sees new and fascinating things in nature will in the future combine his experiences with information acquired at school, which will build his awareness of the importance of natural habitats and their inhabitants. Because only what he knows can fully appreciate.
After the amazing discoveries of kayaking along the San River, children need time to process their impressions. At home, you can talk about new experiences and plan your next adventure together. The moments spent in Podkarpacie remain in your memory for a long time, and nature lessons are a perfect example of the fact that canoeing involves comprehensive experiences.
